Atago 2383 Master-20M Hand-held Refractometer (0-20 Brix)

The Atago 2383 Master-20M is an analog hand-held refractometer designed for users requiring rapid, practical measurements in low-to-mid Brix range samples (syrups, fruit juices, wine pre-screening, etc.). As the entry-level model of the Master series, it omits features such as temperature compensation and water resistance, offering a more economical solution.

The instrument operates within a 0.0%-20.0% Brix measurement range with ±0.2% accuracy and 0.2% resolution. Its metal housing provides durability in field and laboratory environments. Only 2-3 drops of sample are required on the prism, making it time-efficient for rapid control operations.

Since temperature compensation is absent, the most accurate results are achieved when measurements are performed within the specified ambient temperature range of 10-30°C. Without IP65 protection, careful handling is required in humid or wet environments. Compared to other models in the series (2381, 2382, 2991-2993), this is a more basic, budget-conscious option.
