The Atago CM-ISα-NMP is an in-line refractometer specifically calibrated for real-time measurement of N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) concentration within the process line. This specialized model of the CM-800α series integrates seamlessly with existing process control systems via RS-232C and 4–20 mA outputs.

The instrument measures across a refractive index range of 1.32000–1.49100 and converts these readings to the 0.0–100.0% NMP concentration scale. With ±0.1% accuracy and selectable resolution of 0.01% or 0.1%, it delivers precise process monitoring. The broad operating temperature range of −15°C to 160°C, combined with integrated temperature compensation from 10–60°C, ensures reliable results independent of process temperature fluctuations.

For solvent recovery, cleaning bath monitoring, and processes requiring concentration control where NMP is employed, the CM-ISα-NMP provides continuous, automated data logging as an alternative to manual sampling procedures.
