The Apera Instruments YD300 is a portable water hardness analyzer designed for rapid and accurate measurement of water hardness through Ca2+ (calcium ions) and Mg2+ (magnesium ions) concentration determination. The YD300 features a patented 601 water hardness combination electrode that delivers equivalent accuracy to traditional EDTA titration method but with superior convenience. Unlike conventional EDTA titration, no probe stirring or reagent addition is required during testing—measurements are as straightforward as pH testing, providing direct ion concentration readings from your sample solutions.

Equipped with intelligent microchip technology, the YD300 supports automatic calibration, data storage up to 99 groups, and low battery voltage indication. The analyzer supports conversion between eight common water hardness units: mmol/L, mg/L (CaCO₃), mg/L (CaO), mmol/L (Boiler), mg/L (Ca), °fH (French Degree), °dH (German Degree), and °eH (English Degree).

With IP57 waterproof/dustproof rating, the YD300 comes as a complete kit including the Model 601-S water hardness electrode, water hardness calibration solutions (B1, B2, B3) with calibration bottles, hardness activation solution, 20 mL test cell, test cell holder, two AA batteries, quick reference guide, and rugged carrying case. Manufacturer warranty: 2 years (electrode: 6 months).
