EcoZyme Proteinase K is a pre-formulated molecular biology grade enzyme solution supplied at 20 mg/ml concentration in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 1 mM calcium chloride and 50% glycerol. Derived from Tritirachium fungus, EcoZyme Proteinase K is a non-specific serine protease that is stable, highly reactive, and effective for general protein digestion. This enzyme solution is capable of inactivating RNases and DNases, making it particularly valuable for the isolation and preparation of high molecular weight nucleic acids.
