MycoSep® and MultiSep® columns contain concentrated adsorbent material mixtures specifically designed for all food and feed products. These rapid purification systems enable single-step sample cleanup within 30 seconds. MycoSep® columns are inserted directly into test tubes containing sample extract, forcing the liquid through the chemical concentrating material where interferents are retained while purified analyte extract passes through. MultiSep® columns accept sample extract applied to the column top, with cleaned extract collected in a suitable container as interferents bind to the chemical concentrating matrix.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purification time for MycoSep® and MultiSep® columns?
Both column types complete single-step purification in approximately 30 seconds, providing rapid sample preparation for laboratory workflows.
How does the MycoSep® column differ from MultiSep®?
MycoSep® columns are inserted directly into test tubes containing sample extract, forcing liquid through the concentrating material. MultiSep® columns accept extract applied to the top with purified extract collected in a separate container, offering greater flexibility in sample handling.
What types of samples can be analyzed?
MycoSep® and MultiSep® columns are designed for all food and feed products, including grains, cereals, nuts, and animal feed matrices.
What analytes are targeted by different MycoSep® products?
Various MycoSep® formulations target specific mycotoxins: aflatoxins, zearalenone, trichothecenes, ergot alkaloids, ochratoxin A, nivalenol, fumonisins, moniliformin, and patulin.
Are these columns compatible with standard analytical instruments?
Yes, MycoSep® and MultiSep® purified extracts are suitable for HPLC, LC-MS, and other chromatographic analysis techniques.
