The IKA Pette Fix 10 µl is a fixed-volume single-channel air-displacement piston-operated mechanical pipette. Its fixed-volume design minimizes error risk in repeated transfers of identical volumes and increases workflow efficiency in routine applications.

The instrument delivers accuracy of 0.12 ± µl and precision of 0.06 ± µl at 10 µl nominal volume; these values are certified according to ISO 8655 standard. Grey color coding facilitates rapid selection of the correct pipette volume.

The tip cone and piston are coated with DLC (diamond-like carbon), which increases impact and chemical resistance. The pipette is completely autoclavable, making sterilization procedures straightforward. The piston and hermetic volume unit can be inserted and cleaned without additional tools.

Due to its fixed-volume design, it is particularly preferred for applications requiring highly repetitive pipetting of identical volumes (e.g., routine sample preparation, serial dilution steps).
