Atago RePo-4 Portable Refracto-Polarimeter – Honey Analysis Instrument

The RePo-4 is Atago's portable refracto-polarimeter model specifically developed for honey analysis. It combines optical rotation and Brix measurement to simultaneously detect fructose ratio and moisture content in honey samples. While fructose and moisture—the two most critical parameters in honey quality—traditionally require separate instruments and extended measurement time, the RePo-4 performs these measurements in a single device and rapidly.

The instrument features IP65 protection rating, providing resistance to dust and moisture in field and production environments. As temperature compensation is not included, maintaining controlled sample temperature is recommended for measurement accuracy. The measurement scale is displayed in SG (Specific Gravity) format.

It is a practical, rapid, and field-suitable solution for honey producers, food quality control laboratories, and operations performing pre-export analysis. Unlike other RePo series models, it is specifically designed for honey fructose and moisture measurement.
